Memorial Day Party Checklist

Basic Preparation
  • Determine your guest list so you will know how much space you need for your party.
  • Prepare for weather with shade and rain umbrellas, sunscreen, areas of shade, pop-up canopies, and a possible indoor area if there's a downpour.
  • Mail out party invitations that show guests your party will be amazing and to ensure a great turnout.
  • Plan your menu and get a list of potluck items guests are bringing.
  • Determine if you'll play games and decide on where and make sure you have all necessary items for them.
  • Create your grocery list.  Easy BBQ items are always yummy (hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and dip) for all ages. Make sure your side dishes are safe in your weather conditions.
