As for Belmont fashion, while you won't see as many hats as at the Derby, if you are lucky enough to get tickets to the Belmont and want to get noticed and possibly have your picture in the paper (my picture was in the paper the day after the Kentucky Derby!), a fabulous hat is a must-have accessory. Unlike the Derby, hats for the Belmont Stakes tend to be sleek and clean and can run from around $70 to thousands of dollars.
